Anyone triedto read this Alfa ECU before?

2003 Alfa 156 2.0TS, tried to read with Galetto but got message about pin 20 to MASS and couldnt understand what it meant. Anyone know how I can read this as I need to virginise it, thanks

Hi, You must read and write in boot mode - it needs connect pin 20 to GND. I attached image with connection for that ECU.

yes i have posted before one year about.i will search for the files cause sinse then my pc one time stolen and secont time hdd burn.post dump

How the F**K do you get this barstard in BOOT Mode???? Tried the 10k resistor trick with no luck

Am using the CLONE Galetto, is that my problem, will the clone not work? Any idea guys? thanks alot

Connect boot pin directly to GND, without resistor. And it must be connected all the time when You read or write, not only at the begining. Tested and works on many Fiat/Alfa/Lancia ME7.3 ECUs.

BTW. For sure it works with MPPS and FGTech.

Yeh i tried not using the resistor to start with and no success so thats why i tried the resistor but it makes no difference. Have you tested with Galetto clone? Maybe thats my problem

ive already said mate, im using the Galetto clone, thats all i have at the moment, what too do you use?

Pin 15,16,32,47,48 + 12v. Pin 24,25,49 -12v. Pin 20 boot . Pin 53 kline.
