Guys, is Passat B6 remote reusable? Some models keys are with id48 and some with id46, does somebody know more about this?

Hello.
1) yes in passat we have 2 kind remote key, (1) smart remote with transponder Id48,(2) smart remote with id46 = (HITAG) + (keyless go).
2) you can dismount the remote and change transponder id48,after you can relearn it to Comport-M + you can adapt the remote too to Comfort-M.
3) & about remote with id46 (for HITAG)you can read comfort-M dump,& after by tango prepare it,& after learn it by obd2 the transponder & after when done the learning producer it self can done the remote locking & unlocking, (use VCDS) to learn it.

Premier this is virgine file from a new comfort. Check what will the program (pin , cs , vin ).

It seems to me that they do not recognize because they do not get credited the ELVs . Each adding ELV changes the encoding xor file in comfort.
Each manual change EEPROM bytes in a file causes an error.
