maca58, that link is some crap about Margaret Thatcher!
???? wtf has my sig to do with your problem
I don't understand mate, i thought you were telling me to click on it for more info not to watch your sig whatever that is. Anyway i've tried it all and still get the same message. Do you know why or better still how i can sort this out?
As i said before m8 when you press download wait a few seconds then turn the kv on from the rear.
I've tried that a few times
find someone with an xp pc and serial port and use a null modem cable to flash boxes, vista or windows 7 may have problems.
As above or it could be a dodgy null cable
Cheers, will do this, thing is i won't be able to connect box to net until i get home. Is it still do-able?
Hi, was having problems flashing with win7 on laptop and followed advice to use xp on pc direct from rs232 port. I have read this from start to finish and similar sites too. Followed ALL the tuts and advice to the letter but still keep on getting 'downloading not requested' every time! PLEASE can any1 shed any light on this? nothing in these 18 pages has solved it yet. Please help me!
has the null modem cable been used before to flash boxes,if not?it may be a wrong cable as a serial cable looks the same but the null modem cable has a cross over wire for flashing boxes,on the loader are changeable com ports 1-4 if yours is on wrong one it wont flash and remember box has to be powered of at rear first then press download and power on box.
