problem deleting recordings when still recording.

hi i am using a gigablue quad plus with open atv 6.4 I cannot figure out what is going on.
on standard free view sat every time i go to delete a recording or even sometimes when watching another channel whilst recording i get the spinning ring which continues forever or until i switch the box off then on again. box was fine until i upgraded from 6.3 version. any input appreciated.
update reverted back to open ATV ver 6.3 and all working fine with no problems I think it may be a memory issue as my box is getting on a bit.
