    Default help toyota corolla verso 2008 automtic transmission problem

    hello friends pls i have a problem with a corolla 2008 automatic with an TCM transmission control 89530-64010 324811-10560
    the gear box work perfectly but some time if i stop for a minute the car will not move and the transmission sign will show on the dash except if we turn off the engine and start it again
    any help pls?

    What fault codes do you get when its no go? The light on gives you a clue, and I don't have a crystal ball.

    they bring the car back today and i try to scan it there is no fault code i think the dump of the tcm is not good can i get any file readed from a similar transimission control module to try it ?

    btw the car is 2006 not 2008

    Check the clutch, maybe the clutch plate is worn to far.
    You can see with a scanner how much mm the clutch motor is traveling check for the wear limit.
    Also one of the gear engage motors or sensors could be bad.

    It is always better to pull up the error codes. Check the transmission oil level, oil color and its smell. If the transmission oil is milky, blackish and/or gives the burnt smell replace the oil and see if it solves the problem. Otherwise replace the transmission with a good known one, even purchased from junk.
