why is it this forum seems to be getting full of request to see what cheap clone works by people who haven't got them, and who want other people to risk their money just to tell others if they work

Although I agree with you, the other side is, if you were in the market to buy a tool, you would like this info too.

Ive not often been a g-pig, and have took info from here before buying tools, but this tool I did buy, and will share my experiences.

Trust me, its not brilliant, far from it, but just for the coverage of a few more makes and models, its worth it, never more true for the guys who own an original mvp pro, and how fast it is on fords, well, nothing comes close.

I'm in the process of getting one of these or m8 programmer since I can't get info on the m8, might go for one of these, all these cheap tools are just worth buying it it saves you from 2/3 walk aways or a few tokens then why not.

I did'nt realise it was a clone, anyhow I put my money where my mouth is.
brilliantly quick coding a MCC smart pulse key, I could have used another tool but it would have taken an age to do.

yes exactly, I didn't say people should not share their experience with these tools far from it, but theres a difference between people being kind enough to post results of these tools to people who always expect others to provide info/spoon feed them info and more importantly cant be arsed to read through / learn from all the wealth of knowledge here to find there answer.

Sparkz02 with regards asking about the m8 kit , i was lent one of these for 4 weeks , everything i tried with it worked flawlessly , ford was excellent even has pats bypass fully working as the original , a real time saver on 4c models , nissan worked well as did vag renault and peugeot , though you must bear in mind it has the mvp pro functions of 18 to 24 months ago , so anything released since then wont be on it and further updates are unlikely , not the latest vag or ford functions , so wont do precoding on vag and wont do ford 2012 on , the rest is pretty much as the original , i couldnt fault it sadly , id have rather it been a croc of shit , sadly it was decent kit that worked.

Ad did a good job of protecting the new releases thus far , so not as up to date as original , but still alot of coverage .

downside of course is the tokens , despite being cheaper tokens , its still token based , but coverage is huge , i doubt any other clone comes close on overall coverage and pin reading is good too , but those damn tokens.

I just sold my MVP original, reason being I had a tool for over 1 year and I never really learnt how to use it properly, It's hard to learn to use a tool which is last option, a tool which you don't want to use. As a general when I did use it it was for stuff my other tools didn't work on. Which then I will use my MVP it would say successful but really it wasn't and there goes a token. Didn't have ad900 to use tool to its full potential. Was quickly running out of tokens, in this day and age I'm not going to buy 100/250 tokens, I'm going to buy 50 tokens, which with vat will cost me ?20 a token pretty much.

Thanks for reviews on the m8 programmer, at least with this clone they come with 250/300 tokens hopefully I bloody learn how to use the MVP properly.

Worrying statement for someone who has just bought one, I bought mine on a recommendation and he really rates it and I rate him as an auto locksmith.
