Used it twice on these vehicles and twice it's put the engine management into wait (lock) mode.
attempting to escape from this safety device by the method recommended by Nissan does not work. By waiting a long time the original key will work again but you need to clear the engine fault codes P1610 and P1614. I will not use it on Nissan again.

Gwee does x100 have any such issues with qashqai ? if anyone has tried on x100 it will be you and may help those comparing between both machines when considering buying
