so all in all with asian models x100 is superior .

what im really interested to know is how x100 compares against skp900 with regards ford especially after recent updates to both especially on older models where skp900 seems from reading to struggle , how it compares on opel especially pin read , psa vag pins and renault

as from what i read on this thread , not everything on skp900 works , and it seems x100 has a more reliable coverage on all bar landrover , if this is the case then skp900 is a poor investment and an x100 with maybe an skp100 for landrover is a wiser investment for most lokking at these machines .

2004 Mitsubishi Shogun 3200 Diesel used SBB to pull pin code (this tool would not code key) then used SKP900 to enter 2 keys -
I thought SKP900 would have been able to pull pin on this lost all keys situation

you have it listed but you dont have it , maybe a glitch in download , try reloading latest update maybe .

ford is bread and butter , whats it like on old and new ford for reliability ? does x100 cover these as well as skp900 or better ?

does x100 read pins and code renault cards

which has the best overall coverage on ford old and new , vauxhall , psa , renault , vag , skp900 or x100 , as these are the most common makes people see , which has best programming and best pin reading coverage of the 2 , after all the thing we all hate the most is wasted time and unpaid walk aways , which kit gives you the least walk aways , both have unclear coverage lists and for most i imagine its a lottery .

even after reading this thread im no nearer understanding which of the 2 units has the best and most relevent coverage that works , yet i see guys with keyprom8 undercutting and completing jobs that these are failing on daily , many of the clones like sbb , t300 , keyprom8 have the coverage that these seem to struggle on , surely with alot of the softwares available to them from other clones , alot of this should have been put to bed long ago.

it seems to me that skp900 is beta kit at present at best .

if i was a new guy looking to buy a programmer , id be confused to hell as to what can actually do what and which has the best coverage of every day makes

ive played with a keyprom8 , and everything worked that i was able to play with , but it is so obviously a copy of mvp pro , unit , dongles , calculator all identical , all screens identical all functions identiacal . if as was suggested they got the software etc from the same source as effichip did , then you would be correct in saying that its not a clone per say , as has original software on it all be it an old version now , but its certainly an unauthorised copy .
Ad succesfully stopped the russian firm from selling it and had stock siezed by the press release , but china is a law unto itself , so harder to protect there .

its nice to think that the skp900 and x100 will reach the coverage of the keyprom8 as token free , though i believe this will be a long way off as yet , 3d stocking it means they have seen a potential in it , maybe know something we dont know yet , they are no fools and them stocking it means that their will be a long term aspiration or plan for it and a potential .

interesting times ahead as the chinese seem to be slowly shifting from cloning to developing , which will make the market an interesting one .

Yeah Martin the UK always use to lead with Key programming kit. I like to think I was part of that. See NW Keys sell a key programmer that was based on mine but they are giving it away now.

Basically the chinese are taking over the world which is good for us end-users / tho maybe bad in some respects

I know its tougher to make a living as a developer in UK - glad i'm out
    I am a FUD
