That's not working on crypted VDO A3/A4/A6 dashs. Once eeprom is damaged you need to write dump with correct crypto first.
Around 10-12 version are existing. Repaired several of them. Try&error. once it is working again, you can write the dump via obd

Swap dump from jr59 and dash working, see def in km. Changed km with FVDI, reconnected cluster, and all Ok, but can't learning to car. End made immo off in ECU, and car start! Problem solved, thanks to all
PS you can not write back orig dump by OBD if you not have encrypted!!!! other dump working in cluster, but can not bee learning to ECU, only immo off!!! If you want change cluster with immo 3, read pins and change like in ross tech.

You can not learn it in ECU because Audi A6 cluster has to be in Virgin New mode to be able to do this.
