What tool you use?Why dont simply trace lines from points to mcu legs?
You need 4 pins : ,RESET ,BKGD,VDD and VSS.

I'm strugling with this one , I hooked it up top left bdb - bkgd to serial pin 6 , bottom left - serial pin 9 vdd . middle low bdm to reset serial pin 7 , right bottom bdm to vss serial pin 5
But I keep getting BKGD low and I'm not sure why.
Unless I got the BDM points wrong . If i try to trace with multi meter i get conductivity on multiple pins on the mcu

I'm not sure what you mean by right side up for cluster?

    That's upside down

Right side up means top at the top and bottom at the bottom. As opposed to upside down.

I guess you need a picture then maybe it will be clear.

    Yellow - BKGD
    Brown - GND
    Green - RESET
    White - 5V

Thanks! hmm , well two top right points aren't taking any solder anymore, tried with extra flux but it just doesn't stick to it, points are straight white like there was some kind of corrosion damage or something... it looks like it's missing copper , i'm now thinking it's gonna be impossible to jump it to the 112 pin mcu pins...

Or like you burned the pads off. Easy, follow the trace to another point.

no, I haven't touched those pads at all , i soaked all 6 with flux before applying solder and those two didn't wanna take it at all, and they did look different in color before i started any work..

This worked flawlessly with UPA , I got new cluster and test points were better , ODO I got from junk yard had 320k and I corrected it to 203k with TachoSoft , using Buick Allure calc
