    Hi
    latest findings
put card (pcf7943) that only starts car into slot.
Close doors, start engine press hold remote button next to hazard until car "beeps"
locking buttons now work, hands free x work - yet!

    Hi,
I got a Scénic with free hands system but no free hands card. I found used cards of this kind an would like to rebuilt them.
Could some tell me how is the problem with PCF7943 today? I mean is it possible to save used free hands Renault cards just changing and preparing the PCF 7943 or something will never be right, like starting free hands, remote lock/unlock ?
    Regards,

    Hy everyone!

I already have one Med Mk2 1.5 dci on my garage and I've decided to buy another one to retire the "old" on, but it only have 1 key, its a hands free version but I only 1 key. I've decided to clone my working keycard to another handsfree keycard but to do that I'll need your inputs, I think you guys are more aware of things than me, and since there are several keycards for sale like this on the usual chinese websites I'm convinced that there is some solution to use those.

So far I've managed to understand that i need to PRECODE the card with Zed-bull (or other tool - which I don't have - if there are others pls inform). To do that I'll need the PIN code for the car and only in the end, after PRECODING the card, the virgin card can be PROGRAMMED with the car. In the process I've to be very carefull because I'll be only able to do it once, the PCF7943 (inside the virgin card) only accepts one writing, no space for failures. So do you guys know some info on how to pull this off?

Right now this is not urgent but it can be, I've recovered two keycards in the past and posted on the web 10 years ago, never needed to read the contents of the PCF, just swapped the PCF from the broken card to the new one, and during this time I've never needed the 2nd card - thank God For this "new" car I want to have the 2nd card available, just in case.

    Thanks everyone for the inputs

If the stress is not too great you can add a simple card without keyless function, will start the car with the card in the reader and for lock-unlock the doors you use the pad card
This is necessary for the new card the old one will work as before, with keyless

You mean program a keycard with the PCF7947 ? Ok, I'm open to that suggestion also. And what's the way to do it properly?

Many programmers can do it, China programmers like FVDI 2014/2015/2018, Xtool PAD, OBDSTAR

Without needing to precode the card, right? Just pick on the new card and sync it with the car, the tool does the rest: finds the PIN number and is all straight forward. is that it? Sorry to ask, never coded this keycards.

All you need is a new card (China card is good), no need to precode, the tool does everything just follow the instructions
The first time it will delete all cards in the car's memeory, after that it is necessary to enter every card to be learned
