    Default bought a 3ds what next for a few games

    as stated bought the young lad a 3ds for christmas how do i go about sorting him with games.... been years since i did this kinda thing for the niece and nephew on there ds.. would appreciate any info

    It's kinda hard with the 3ds because it has to be on a certain firmware to use a flash card that plays actual 3ds games, which means u can't update the 3ds but u can also buy a flash card and just put DS games on it, the older games play no problem.

    Otherwise the only other answer is a trip into game or something

    I have just got my lad a 3ds too, but mine is on firmware 4.5 where I can use a gateway 3ds card to play 3ds and nds games and you can update the card so the 3ds thinks its on the current firmware google gateway3ds the web site says there might be something on the way for the 3ds on the current Nintendo firmware 9.2 with the gateway card

    cheers lads ordered the 3ds but havent got my hands on it yet the r4i card arrived today so il give it a go next week see if all working
