Xprog 5.5.1 Atmega and eep free for all

Hi,

Does anyone has an issue with 5.5.1, like you read successfully eerpom or MCU, then you want to read/wrige again, and software always hangs on Check Device..?

Before it was working fine, this problem just started recently. Tried on 2 different PC - same.

To get it working you need to replug device and restart the Xprog software, and again only for 1 time.

Never program Atmega with Xprog. Anyone knows why are the Read and Write buttons grayed????? Blank check and erase device is ok successfully.
On pics, port is unidefinied because xprog is unplugged. If plugged in and port is ok, problem is the same.

select FILE / NEW PROJECT
then PROJECT / FILES... and select file , next you see what you need.

I have problem " Bootloader inistilisation error " in tms 370C036 ( tms from iaw 6r.30 twingo ,tool : xprog v5.55 clone with dongle ) I use adapter P/C:1 002-0002
on this adapter written Plcc28 but it is an Plcc44 , is that right or I m wrong ?

I want to downgrade to v.5.51..could anyone read this chip with v.5.51 ?

Solved with setting lock and fuse bits right.

hi to all
i face the following issue
i can read or write only once any mcu
second time stuck on ''check device'' and only green led is on and i cant even close program
can close only from task manager
after restart working again but one time

win7 32 bit
couple weeks ago was working
dont know if this was after an update

solved
bad exe file
unzipped again

I got same error and checked and rechecked fuse and lock bits

My xprog box had a dongle, if I program this to that box will it work without dongle? or work at all?

I tried with 5.5.0 with 5.5.5 and with 5.7 (this one works, but I dont have any access) and nothing works, hopefully this one does!

doubts, but should not be in all true? if someone tried to change from false to true, and it does not change is semrpe false. tell me if mine is a problem or WHAT would it be?
My hardware is a 5.3, I'm trying to get to work with 5.5.1, but I have not resutado ok. if anyone can help. thank you.true x false.jpg
