    thanks for your help vorlon,
    have now updated to what i believe is the latest version january 2015, 0a07oa00_1.6.54 emu.
    couldnt see anything about a loader version on the site?

    another thing is all my sly bouquets have now gone, do you know where i can d/l a file?

    No mate can't help you there, only thing I can think off is to do a search on google to see if there are any on there.

    I also have issue with the Amiko mini combo, unable to get past the password.
    what firmware do i need as well as the upgrade tool. Also is it a 3.55mm (3 pole)jack needed?
    I prefer dreamboxes, this is a favour for a friend.
    All help is much appreciated, thank you

    Managed to sort it. Got loader from amiko and firmware from amiko website.
    then as I didn't have a rs232 to 3.5mm cable, I had to solder the wires direct on to the female jack on the board and it worked.
    If anyone has to do same then the wires to solder are: the tip is TX then Ground, RX and then ground.
    If anyone needs to make or order a cable then you will need rs232 and a 3.5mm (4 pole) jack.
