It was the name of the file.
Name needs to be : WebTv

You write your own file, name it WebTv and thats it.
On PC you will have : WebTv.m3u

    Thanks for your help hfxlad!

just a quickie here.. my v8s is a little buggy with any type of usb update unless I plug the usb memory stick in first & then power up the box. Always works this way Also it doesnt hurt to have the memory stick freshly formatted to fat32..
As far as this webtv thing goes... to be honest I find it, well.. pretty crap really.. not really anything worth watching on there.. unless somebody has got some NEW sources ?!

Just got my box the other day and have no issues with usb hard drive or pen drives could it possibly be fixed in a firmware update?

as for webtv im working on getting a nice list of channels sorted out been a while since i looked for live streams but used to be very good at hunting them down, if i do manage to find some good channels i will post them on here, im mainly myself looking for the USA channels

I've got an updated code from the 25/09/2016. Try creating a new .m3u file with this code:
    Attached Files Attached Files
