Remote Program Megane '00

Hi, can any help m with remote programming from Renault Megane '00 year, Transponder 4D, remote 1 Button, 8 digit immo code. I can program sucessefull transponder, but i can't program remote... i try the system of pressing button of central door lock, but not work, the immo not enterd in programation mode.

-Switch ignition off
-Press and hold button from central door locking and wait for light is off.
-Now led might start to blink slowly.......

Well, this not happen...

I thing after year 2000 the mthod of programation is diffirent.

And other question, in these cars can i reprogram a used remote?

Did you use a 2nd hand remote with a brand new transponder chip?

I have two cars with same problem.

-One car have new key (i program only transponder)
-Second car have used key, i put new transponder and i program it. (Problably remote was match with transponder and is locked to program)

But i not stand why the first cat can't be programmed the remote, i think i don't correctly the programation mode

Have a guess where the remote data was before you changed it?

If you have a brand new unused remote key,

The remote just needs synchronising after you have programmed the transponder (The transponder tells the car what remote data to expect), there are a couple of different methods.

1st Press the locking button on the dash for 5 seconds until the doors unlock again and then press the remote 3 times.

or

Press the remote button for 10 seconds.

If that doesn't work, you will need to check it with a diagnostic tool and see what is being received by the vehicle.

BTW The used remote is only good for the bin.

Try this:
1. Hold the PLIP pressed for longer than 10 seconds (until the red telltale Light on the PLIP extinguishes)
2. Press PLIP again 3 times. Check that the doors lock and unlock correctly.

Or the other method instead of CLDB push Trip computer button if you have one and wait.

where is central locking antenna on megane Y2001 ? ( with RF ) IR version is at beside the interior mirror

ring antenna ( immo antenna ) on ignition barrel has also function like as antenna remote control for central door locking ?

yes, beside the interior mirror mate, I know the steps to pragram the key and start the car

thank you very much,, I thought also there is the antenna of remote central door locking, but customer say there is no antenna...
Maybe after year 2000 has ring antenna ( on de ignition barrel) has also function as antenna of remote for doors,,,but I m not sure
I will say to customer he must to check again ( beside interior mirror.

you will see near interrior mirror glass reseiver, also u have in carprog manuals manual procedure to program remote again..
and yes after 2000 car have uch
