There's no tool that can do all-keys-lost on MB.
Avdi is not good tool for Mercedes at all. You need to go look for another specialized tool.
    For example:

I have FVDI and just got AVDI a little while ago.. It depends on which mercedes key you want to do.. The flip key that is on the older ML's is easy and works well. I removed the doorlock, made a key for it, put key in ign, hooked up unit, read data, programmed a chip, then programmed the chip to the vehicle, then programmed the remote portion... Read the instructions on the remote programming a couple of times... I screwed up on when to turn off and on the key... As for the DAS3 keys... I read the EIS, then the ESL, but realized I had no key to read the NEC chip... All keys lost situation... I pulled the center console and lower dash and removed the EIS, tried to read with AK500.. the tech support for the AK500 was unbelievable... as in non existent... I ended up putting everything back together and went to the dealer and spent $225.00 for the key.... I have heard from the US distributor of Abrites that there is a new module for mercedes in the pipeline... supposedly similar to the new BMW module.. I would love to see it... I use AVDI about every other day for late model VW's and BMW's, love the way it works... But for the Mercs, until they come out with a module that works with all keys lost, I will just send customers to the dealer....
    Take care,
    Tim
PS, the procedure for the DAS3 is, read EIS, then read ESL, then read nec chip in key, key can be working or non working, but has to have been programmed to the car, then send that data to Arbritus and they will send you back key bins within 24 hours...

yeah ive been reading a bit about the dodgy nec programmer
is it none functional or hit n miss ?
what does it mess up exactly and can it be fixed

it would be nice for an all keys lost option

but for adding a spare key i supposed it must be ok for newer style nec keys

what nec programmer is good for the nec chips then ?

    thanks

Can I ask which models you are using it on??? Have you tried this on the W203 models?? I have a customer who wants me to diagnos his issue with the EIS.. takes about 10 minutes of trying before the key will start the car...
    Thanks in advance,
    Tim

Dave you can do lost keys on a lot of mercs just not the newer like w204, w212, w221. Most of the stuff up to 2007 can be done.

However they can't be done via obd. You would need to remove the ezs and use a device such as a rosfar or xprog to read the data, then you need a tool that can program the new key using the data collected from the ezs.
