VAG immo solutions (clone, immo off) MEDC17, SIMOS, BCM2 (eeprom fix), ELV (P160A fix), INVCON.
Thank you. I can't add the key because it doesn't accept the PIN. I don't know what I'm doing wrong
Hello,
May some one tell me - is it possible to adapt immo from 1.8TFSI MED17.5 ECU into 2.0TFSI MED17.1 ECU.
Both ECUs are from same generation car - Audi A4 B8 pre-facelift.
Reason is that I need 2.0T ECU because of different HPFP driving strategy.
Car is already rewired for the "NEW" ECU.
With Immo off in new eeprom car starts, but have errors in ECU & ACC/Start Auth. modules and SAFE on the dashboard.
Also OBD reading is not possible.
Maybe if it is possible to adapt this different ECU to current Immo it should be best.
Kind regards,
Chris
Both clone and immo off is possible.

What I'll need in order to adapt 2.0T ECU to the car?
Dump from both ECUs or dump from BCM2 and donor ECU.

And it will work even though both ECUs are totally different ones?
Old one have 1.5MB flash dump, "new" one 2.0MB.
Old eeprom is 32KB, new one is 128KB.
Power class for sure is different too.
Here are both backups - flash+eep from old MED17.5 ECU and flash+eep of NEW MED17.1 ECU.
Both ECUs are WFS5 - so the pflash/dflash size doesn't really matter. Ofc this doesn't mean the ECUs are 100% compatible at software level as they might be designed for differently equipped cars.

I'll try it later and let you know
There is pass on the file
Everything went good.
car starts - no immo faults in any module, no SAFE on the dashboard. Just PERFECT!
