    Hi guys,I'm new to all this I would like to know which box to buy. Reading on here it seems a lot are using m8,on the well known shopping sites there seems to be different versions/ spec, any help would be great

    buy MX2 flash it with Linux best thing ever,, make sure it is flash-able there are alot of fake ones going around

    Although the OP has probably decided by now what to buy for anyone else the Rasoberry Pi2 is an excellent choice for around ?50 for a full starter kit its a bargain, you also have different versions of Kodi to install from other software writers such as OSMC

    as said by digicon, go for a raspberry pi2, great little sbc and you can dual boot it to run openelec and raspian
    dm500hd -dm500hd v2-vu+duo- triax 1.1m - inverto lnb - technomate 2300 motor- linksys ddwrt router
