    Default XMLTV Rytec sources

    I have a tm800hd (I know I shouldn't!!) which has recently lost 7 day epg.
As this reciever is no longer supported with updates can anyone supply with me with an updated rytec sources file in the hope that I can resurrect the 7 day epg?
If not what else can I do?

    Ok sorted it out myself.

The normal method is to do opkg update which doesn't work for this box so had to find an alternative method.

If anyones interested I got hold of the new sources file as it is no longer published.
Then I had to move a working link in the sources xml to the first line so it is loaded first by the crappy tm800hd which often reads only the first line.
Then downloaded one of the rytec channels xml gz files and ftp'd to etc/epgimport.
The result...a working 7 day epg.

Sorry, but I haven't got time to send sources to everyone who asks, as firstly its not my work, and secondly I don't want to sabotage the good work of people who don't want to publish it.

If you can find your sourcefile, like I had to, then I am happy to help further, but I already explained in my post of how to set it up.

Please ask someone on the OpenPli website for a current sourcefile if they are willing to help.

    Hope that helps.

Cheers anyway. "If anyones interested I got hold of the new sources file as it is no longer published. "
thought that implied that you might have been willing to share the xml info . Clearly you were just bragging

Very funny..as it happens I did help a few ppl out with the xml...but then others wanted the file, and then me to guide them through it even though I clearly posted how.

I just dont have time for that....I just posted to let owners of this box know that it can be done..with little effort...which some aren't able to muster!!

You might call it bragging...but I'm giving you incentive to sort your epg out if you thought you needed to buy a new box....plus... man...didn't half feel good to get my epg back .(brag).

You click 'Reply' then 'Go Advanced' then scroll down until you see 'manage attachments'

Make sure your file is either 'Zipped' or 'Rar'd'
