    Necessary ? you think c++ 2005 ?
    i seem to get 2mb or 1mb or 512kb read, then when file looked at i have a bad read all 000000 and ffffffffffff
    then sometimes on write checksum buffer error,
    i would maybe resolder Kess RAM chip.

    Can someon _please_ write a quick'n'dirty howto on updating the firmware to 4.0xx ?

    What is needed?
    Is it updates by JLink, posted software?
    What SW version can be used afterwards?

    I'm getting _really_ confused with all this personal nick'nack. :/

    I've got some problem with understanding your post but if you meant what I think you did then you do not do an "initial" install just copy over.
    I don't know if your reading inconsistencies are related to sw or hw but to make the software part sorted out is a tad bit easier so I'd start with that...

    Try this:
    - get rid of everything KSuite related from the PC/laptop
    - install "original installer" from link
    - THEN copy KSuite v2.8 folder from same link
    - test...

    ps. Have you seen my PM?

    EDIT:
    It even works on a Win 7 VM running on a Win 7 x64 Ultimate system

    Download the stuff from here the write up is in the "HOWTO and other stuff"
    I just repacked the stuff and rewrite the "manual" a bit which was posted by gazvts originally.

    @yourmate
    mate but your manual isn't correct...the one from gazvts is better, even it is for you hard to understand....
    the parts you describe are not wrong in the way to say it won't work in this way...but they are unneeded.

    push update files to update folder
    update
    finish
