I have kess clone. Look good quality as there is no jlink adapters. "kess v2 european 2.08 SW and 4.036 FW - NET SAFE HQ REWORKED PCB" is the name in that was sold for me I read one car with it with no errors but when i tried to read edc16cp34 it gives me wakeup error all the time. What can i do to fix this. Its so bad to receive this on another car. I read the car with bdm and flash original soft. Then tried again obd but still same error. I was thinking that the remap flash is locked. But still same after this. I tried to format and paste again the files into sd card but with no luck please somebody help me

My file is EU try of this. Rework. If you thing is bad kess.

I am also looking for some info on decent quality clone kess v2 and been searching and reading a lot and about it and the more I read the more I'm confused. Adverts on the net are pretty much the same for every single device and obviously it's impossible to know what you get until you receive it. When it comes to tokens there are opposite claims. Some says they need to be recharged via j-link and by changing the onboard chip. Other info says tokens for certain devices with certain FW versions can be reset by software. Can anybody tell something about it from a first hand experience? I had one car, golf V tdi, remapped and I paid to have that done. Now I got my hands on another one, freelander td4, and I would like to do it my self. It's more fun, plus I'm pretty familiar with tech, for example I installed cruise control on my golf myself, added wiring and recoded computer, so I would like to try some tuning myself, as long as I have the right tools.

edit: I found this clone on a sale @aliexpress. Looks the same as those bit more expensive ones. Would it be worth buying it?

On peugeot it always said wake up error and on fiat it made some other error

Needs reworking solder through holes reflow chips sd holder etc then probably replace some components read the thread all info is available
