Hello, you can use the clones for ecu's without any ( contenute ) risk, is better you read and write always with same tool, be sure the file you go to write is correct, for some ecu's is better make a full back up with Ktag, and you can be quiet, always thing appaned, you have a full back up.

Not true... used kess in boot tricore, read ok. Write stop at 99%error and ECU was dead even after write original file with mpps... can read or write but no way to work on car

Hi, I reworked my Kess clone v5.017. But i'm getting a issue communicating with trucks "Wake Up Error".
I have connected to my Car without issue , ids' the ECU fine. But Renault Kerax DCi 370 ,Scania R470 , Renault Kerax 420. All get the same error "Wake Up Error". Is there anyone else with this issue or heard of it before? I tried google but generally in context with v4.036, and to reformat card.
Problem is reformat is that i don't have access to any v5.017 SD card files. Only v4.036.
