1.On that week it kills a W203 EIS, a Volvo dash, and a lot of CAS2 (I have seen it on many forums.)
2.It not supports the older NEC 78xx (for example 2001 agila dash, while a 80 USD programmer it supports)
VVDI Prog is one of the best programmer to work with MB & BMW. Well if someone kill CAS2 with it then maybe do not play with electronics at all...

I did not have a chance to work with CAS4 yet but I know people who are very good in this business and they use VVDI Prog for CAS4 so I can recommend. CAS up to 3+ is no problem. Most important is making a good wires connection. Some people do not solder carefully and then blame the tool.

Cas3, cas4 all okay with vvdi. Soldering is most important.

    Hi,

i want to make a full dump (not only the 512bytes eprom) from a EWS3 MCU (0D46J) without EWS3 adaptor
A PLCC test clip should be good enough to establish the connection to the programmer.
But what about the connections on the board, i think i have to cut some wires on the pcb to get full access to the mcu, right?

    Can somebody help?

    regards
