VVDI PROG

i used connection from manual, just like pictured using ECU refresh cable. 12v power adapter connected to a tool.
errors: "Device error, please check whether the chip connection have short circuit, if connection is right connect 12v adapter and try again."
and if i try again i just get this: "device error please check USB driver"
i tied to reinstall usb driver, nothing changes.

How do you connect?What's the failed message?

Xprog does not have a clue about-it. 5.51 i mean .
Vvdi prog, 1 minute. Worked perfect.

Hi louis21 i have a problem with my vvdi prog i have been using this tool for a long time and works very well , i seem to have a problem with it no longer reading/writing any mcu at all ,i have changed pc for other,and usb and power, i try old software , last software , checked firmware and seems up to date, even tested on EIS i read before also i read with r270 no probs , it will 100% read/write eeprom easy but not read/write any mcu i try sercure or unsercure , i have 5v at vcc and ground on black when i try read also i test all lines on v1 cable all are fine , now i have a friend let me use his my flash cables are fine as they work 100% on his but when i try with my prog all i get is (chip not connect) , can you help me solve this problem ..

I have one idea if developers of this tool can add "search" function in soft of this tool, if some one need to search fast some "mcu"..., to writhe directly first name and the soft to know to show what similar mcu have in database of this soft for can select more simple and fast !
