I need to cut a pcb line.
Do i need to repair this afterwards?
And would cutting it at the solderpoint not be more practical.


Or does that solder point, lead three ways.
Like downwards!


I could easily remove the solder, then cut it across 2/3 1/3 leaving 2/3 to atach my prog leads.Sim4LE.jpg

would like to ask... vvdi prog.. got sell so many adapter.. which 1 should i select? (just start learn prog stuff ) .. so i not sure which adpater i should buy...

To start, you dont need adapters.
If you need to read eeproms, get a second programmer like Xprog 5.55

i deleted a part from immo hex file pic18f inserted into tango programmed key then wrote back the deleted part if you have file you can send to make i will help you

vvdi prog is good for reading proccesors.
Some have had problems reading eeproms.
This might be solved now that there is a adapter.

If your vvdiprog fails, at any reading or programming, you will have a backup.
It also helps as a confirmation to solve some reading writing problems.

All my collegues have at least few laptops, w7 32 w7 64 and xp.
And xprog, upa, tl866, willem, orange5

Xprog, is a great tool, and comes with many adapters.

Some even sell a xprog clamp adapter, to make i even more handy to use.
The picture posted, is 17euro adapter to use on xprog.

You can lift pin 18 AMIS from PCB after end programing solder that again

i'm just curious guys do you removing the can filter (if fitted) from the cas4 before the backup or not?
