I surprise those who do not want to use the Thanks and Reputation buttons but ask for the password of the files.

I was trying yesterday with 080D0WQ and vvdi can work only with new chip. It even can't even read used one. I've read with PaSoft, edit VIN and KM and then write to new one.

But I worked all Ok in D80 => read and erase (INC) so write ( Without adapter )

Partition is configured for Dflash OR eeprom. Xprog-M does the same and it is correct like this.

Not true. It can read/write fine. Just made a Corsa-D and it also perfectly resets incremental area. Check your soldering or adapter.

Yes, my fault. Now everything is ok. Probably bad soldering.

    Yes, i know!
For example, after write partition to EEPROM maybe you must read D-Flash again? whats than? not possible with vvdi and x-prog
you have only one chance read the D-Flash

You don't understand the system. You have to decide how to configure the partitions. If all space is used for eeprom, there is no Dflash! If all space is used as Dflash, there is no eeprom.

Am i doing something wrong here, I'm also having a problem with a 080DOWQ from BMW E90 instrument cluster.
Seems VVDI prog with the M35080 adapter is able to read the chip ok (certainly the mileage in dump ties up with what it should be), however when i try using the Erase INC button to clear the first 32 bytes it fails and gives the following error "Chip crack failure, please confirm the chip type and connection right, then try again !"

It's late and i've only tried in the adapter socket. Maybe tomorrow morning i can solder the chip onto the adapter and try again.
Is there anything else i maybe missing here?
