If you change battery it will work...i don't know the reason for this, but indeed happens.

A lot of the keys bought off ebay have bad batteries that do not charge and will begin to discharge in the ignition bringing on the low battery warning.
So you are correct, it is the battery fault not the firmware.
Changing the battery for one in good condition will fix this issue.

i have tried with vvdi-prog but keeps saying crack fail
is it a password problem perhaps or i dont have correct wiring diagram.
i tried same way as fgtech pinout. my friends fgtech reads it perfect.
any feed back would be nice thanks.

Tried to read a Toyota Avalon 2000 93C56 chip, it would read successful but when I load into vvdi2 it would say unknown version, it was right file size. How are you guys reading Toyota ?
