I tried erasing a few m35080, D80D0WQ without success. "could not break protection". I noticed that the preset VDD differs from the voltage measured on the chip socket during erase process. While the set value was 4,5V ,the measured was about 3,8V . I increased the voltage (VDD) in VVDI PROG, but when I set it to 5V, there is no communication with the chip. So the best I can set is 4,9V, while the real life voltage at the chip is about 4,3V. Sometimes I get "success" message, but the chip does not get erased.

    Thank you!
I can see your VCC is set to 4.4V, could you please measure the voltage at the chip pins? (1.GND, 8.VCC)

Do you trust a programmer, that cannot erase a m35080, and cannot read a lousy hc05, to do a cas4 ?
The problem with vvdi, is that it is not ok for the basics... The shitty things that almost any clone can do.
    Just not VVDI.
