I do use the clear crash button and sometimes i clear manually if crash still there..reading dtc. most times auto and if it dont read then manual mcu if I know for sure what mcu it has. read from i always leave alone

Hello to all. After try to work wit CarProg 12.45 now I have UNIT CRC ERROR, DELETE LIB FILE AND MAKE UPDATE. My CP is china clone with serial myko2016.........
how can i make it work again with v10.93 ( it was working before ok with this version ) ?
I tryed
1. Reflash mcu with bin file from my database - NOT WORKING AFTER REFLASH
2. Step 1 and replace lib file - NOT WORKING AFTER REFLASH
3. Trow it out the window in the street and run over with my car - NOT WORKING
NO no no step 3 is only option.

Please help with some info, do i have to delete something from PC, regedit, or something else?

fw and lib have to match
reflash with fw and then put the fw's lib file in the carprog folder
software is just software all will work with your matched lib file

Hello to all. CP 12.45 is original version, I think when I connected Carprog to PC and program try to make update the at88sc was damaged. Now I have put bin and lib with serial 150428CAR00491KW and I have some functions, but when I try to make test hardware again I have message for CRC ERROR. Can the at88sc be reprogrammed or I need to bye new CP and take at88 from it. My PCB is reworked ( antenna, 74hc ). Thank you.

the software wont have tried to update anything
only way for this to happen is if you clicked on update in the sw
hardware test almost alays fails, are you using the hardware test adapter?
at88sc can not be read or reprogrammed (there is no dump of this anywhere)

As soon as you start CP12.45 you get a double window ( the same like up date \ internet ) and this stay for long time. I closed the program and from there no more joy. After that I connected CP to other PC never install 12.45 and the same problem. When I start 10.93 and select airbag\mazda\xxx i get CRC ERROR. So this mean that the problem is in CARPROG main unit. After that I started my posts here. That is all. I fiund dump for at88sc here in DK. But if you say it can not be read or write, only solution is next main unit of CP.

many have said this dump on here is no good
never tested it because my carprog works ok
have you tried to reflash with another fw because i have seen one newer v8 firmware that gave errors

If you can share some other bin and lib, I will try and post results. I ahve only 150428CAR00491KW pair and MYKO201607010014 pair. With MYKO was working before 12.45, now not OK. And now I am using xxxxxxxxKW but not good.

Hi FXShaw Thanks for all valued input, please excuse my lack of experience. I have cleared the crash data on my cheap system as I only got for this car (corsa D) Where would I get the virgin/original bin info. I think I have cleared the crash data but don't know how to write back original/pre crash data. Any help would very appreciated

crash data is read from eprom then cleared manually (if you cant do it then post dump on forum and ask for someone to do, make a new thread for this)
then write new cleared dump back to eprom
