I'm exactly trying to sort immo off in the same ecu. About to go test all the solutions I can find in the next hours.
By the way, my ECU has smd eeproms.

The car I have here with original eeprom data is working, but only cranks if I unlock the vehicle with the remote. Or else it says in the dashboard, something like "Unlock with remote. Motor inhibited.".

I tried with both eeproms removed and unplugged key coil and it still only works after I unlock with remote.

I'm wondering if I need to cut any pin that is inhibiting the motor.

    Are your remotes working?

I haven't opened the key to see if it has transponder or only a pcb.
