Hello guys,
2017 Ford focus
Doorlock cilinder spins, without any resistance in any position.
Wafers appear to move free, when i insert lishi.
2 keyless blades, are identical, so my guess is,
The door cilinder, is broken.
I can pull the inner door grip handle,
All the way, a few times, but it wont unlock.
Is there a deadlock, like Opel Vauxhall?
Rs2.3
Maybe i can power the car up, on the starter?
yep, cars battery is death.
I pulled from the inside, twice, but no luck.
Some can reach the hood release placed on the inner A colom.
I collected a replacement lock,
The plastic cover, i can remove on the car. And the cilinder core sticks out abit.
I can put a vice grip on it, and drill out the lock core.
Then re key, new lock, to fit oem keyblades.
I could jack up the car, but a rs, pretty low, lots of plastic everywhere.
Never heard of deadlock in Ford. Try also pull inner and outer handle at the same time.
I did that, but it is not working.
That could work on some vw, to reduce slack on the cable.
Rear doors Touran.
Sad.. you did try the other door too and the same, right? I would try to power it up… drilling the lock through and hoping to use a screwdriver is sketchy as you rely on the door mechanism behind it to be working which may or may not be.

Jack it up and try to jump 12v to the starter.
On Passat B6 with dead battery is sufficient to connect power supply to the fog light at front bumper. Maybe in this case is worth to try too.

I'd say most Fords have deadlocking, at least in the UK anyway.
