I do not own vvdi2, only their other products. After coming for the resque of the dead 2011 mini Cooper, successfully killed by a smart locksmith with this product, I am very sceptical now about it's allmigtiness. $1500 DME, go on experiment...undoing the battery terminal, etc. That was his (locksmith) first one. AND yes, the mini back from the dead only for half the price.
On the other hand VW product is a different dough. And I know VVDI is strong here. And I may end up buying on. It's cost effectiveness is unbelievable, my original Avdi bare hardware cost as much and without subscription and active functions is a brick to even fvdi.
Experimenting is always good but costly.. time and potential screw up.
Didn't mean to offend anyone ever btw. It's the best forum here with a lot of good people.

I know that friend, sorry for being rude.

Probably that car your local locksmith killed because CAS have ISTAP, im right?

For cars with ISTAP VVDI2 dont work really good, but even with AVDI sometimes you will need to reflash the unit and do the job manually.. So always when we have any CAS with ISTAP, we ALWAYS takeout the CAS, read and write on beench.

    More safe, more professional.

Cya buddie, we are all here for learn and help!

AVDI sales are actually hurting cause they treat their clients like crap....

Highly doubt that. Not in the near year or so. The nut is too hard for their teeth.

About the Tango functionality of vvdi2....
Does it renew Toyota smart key?
Is Hitag2 option open, let's say, to unlock the PCF7942 (e65 key).
Interested to know about other usability of it in the real world, not China lab ("maybe yes maybe no, but let's add the menu and pretend the tool performs, and...... Never, Never add PROPER how to's to the help menu").
I have the original tango, missing some activations though

About FEM BDC. I want to hear it from Samic. Otherwise it sounds too good to be true. Since him showing up here is rare thing to happen.. i doubt it!

Hi, Audi S5 2013/09 all fobs lost.
Decode over OBD failed: after Disconcect plug 1, then 2, then middle, connect middle, 1, last 2, then continue and fail. Tried numerous times.
Step 2, Tried to read dump BCM2 with wire, soldered VVDI2 as per pic, Failed connect
Step 3, Tried to read dump with VVDI prog, connect ok, but fail to read after pressing read button. I DID NOT press SKIP SEC because message says it will erase data!!! is it true? what are the correct steps reading with VVDI PROG

Please if you would be so king to lead me on the right path here.
    Thanks very much
