VVDI 2 new tool arrived

Hi to all
Is it not possible to use vvdi2 on a Windows 7 laptop?

I am having difficulty to install driver even manually.

Can some one help please.

Vvdi prog installed and used with no problem but can't get vvdi2 going on the same laptop.

The problem is that not just VVDI, all other tools except VCDS use genetic ftdi driver .
Problem come when you install one device with this driver , you can not install other . Because Win7 do not know how to separate this driver between devices like Win XP.
Only Win XP can do this , separate this driver bewteen devices.

I had same problem and had to find Laptop with Win XP. I install first SMOK which use same driver and after that I was not able to install VVDI or any other device with ftdi driver.

Only solution was is , to ,make own driver with own name , example "VVDI Driver installer" like VCDS did , but of course this cost money which no one want to inverts and spend money on this.

Struggling to do a lost key job for 2012 VW Touran (date on sticker is 19/09/2012), keep getting a non-standard upload fail error.
Select NEC+24c64
Select Service Mode
Load original 24c64 file
Save modified service mode file.
Write modified file to 24c64.
Connect on bench.
Read Flash or Load Original 24c64 file and write.
Tries security log in but get the error.

problem of ramiz was due to non updating frimware of vvdi2
now all works
i have vvdi2 and vvdi prog and vvdi mb and original vcds working on win 7 64 bit with no problems

What option have you used?
Instrument with NEC+24C64
Instrument with NEC+24C64(2013)
Instrument with NEC+24C64(2014-06-)

Should be the 2013 one.

EDIT: easy when you use the right option.
Was trying Instrument with NEC+24C64 with no luck.
Tried 2013 option as exe123 suggested and all went fine.

I wanna try xhorse remotes.

Is vvdi2 compatible with all remotes or do I have to buy european version remote? Like the vvdi key tool does?

When I run the VVDI2 BMW software then I get amessage with something like "Your Database files are V1.0.0, Please update to newer version. Run the Update tool."
How to update the BMW Database file?
