Simply tool for syn elv, dme?
Hi guys, im having a problem, someone bricked an MED17.5 ECU from a VW Golf Mk6 (5K chassis) GTi using Kess. Now the ECU came into my workshop but I cannot read it with VVDI...
ERRORS:
Device Error, please check whether the chip connection has a short circuit, if connection is right connect a 12V adapter and try again.
Device error.
All I want to do is write new flash on the ECU.
This happens alot for me with the early cas3 cars.
I just drop the trim panel and plug straight into the CAS using the adapter without removing the cas from the car.
The sync cas-dme never works for me using vvdi2. I use fvdi and it usually syncs within 3 attempts.

for me the solution:
CAS-EVL syncro (3-7 attempt)
After the EVL was released
i just checked the DTCs
and CAS-DME syncro (first attempt)
all done with vvdi2
the old key was working and after that.... well cas3 is out and read it with prommer
i don't want to do it thru obd again
