Not always. I had a A3 2005, for Km job, and VVDI2 did not even knew what it was.
Just could not read any data from-it ... Digiprog, 1 minute , perfect.
But then I had another and no problem with it.

Hi guys. How do you start to deal with a 2010 Audi A5 all keys lost with a damaged BCM2? The initial problem all keys lost. Someone tried to read the BCM2 and literally damaged the board.

Hello lads. Looking for advice here. I not had a great deal of experience with vag stuff. However it's a brand I would like to learn. I get asked from time to time to swap a Speedo over and I've twice now been asked to code in pcr2.1 ecus. I have no tools to do either. So I am thinking about upgrading my abritus to full vag? Or vvdi2

P.s yes I have smok but not full for pcr2.1

Would you all post up your experience

Will vvdi2 do pcr2.1 ecu swaps and other modules?

Been asked to code in a srs module on a golf 7 it's saying component protection at the moment as it's from a Donar golf

    Any and all advice appreaciated

Unfortunetly VVDI2 can't do PCR2.1! If you want that you need SMOK option for reading PCR ECUs and then you can use VVDI2

ETKA will give you part number but not exact type. It will not show if A3 from 2006 is Micronas or Fujitsu.

So how add spare key? If possible read cs and pin. Than maybe write cs with tango and learn with vcds with pin?
