Thanks Yugo but I can't agree with it mate. Did it plenty times and never had problems with it. Its not conversion to white clocks but just simple red-to-red clocks swap on mk5 platform. Like 2007 clocks going into 2005 car.

2007 Was a split year with immo block. One with VWX and VWZ. They have different checksum.So sometimes you can get 2007 but it was late model and it will have different immo block then early 2007.

There is a keytool, that allows you to make dealerkeys with the known CS.

Just put the cs in manualy.
To decode edc17 and med17, you will need the condor machine. So forget about that.
Also the passat B6-CC keymaker allows you to put in the cs and make a dealer key!

can you advise how to activate this obd function as my condor xc mini should be here for friday !

I had problems last week Audi A3 2010 Got CS and MAC and made transponder okay but would not allow me to teach to the car kept coming up with security access failed! And today Audi A5 2013 same comes up with message about waiting 10 mins I wait that time then say security access failed! tried 3 time this car today. Could you take a look Samic?

with a3 u go to key lerning, 4th immo audi, pick audi a3 cdc next read eeprom
then read immo data , make dealer key and add key as next reset instrument cluster end
a3 work perfect on vvdi

Yeap, i have tested to and work perfect.

VVDI2 soft crashes everytime I connect to 46 Comfort module and try to read dtc (Passat 3C).

I do not have a Condor. I believe that there is just a USB you need to plug in you PC.
