Hi friends, I have an Audi A4 2005 year, RB8 2004+ cluster, is any chance to delete lost keys with vvdi2, or do all keys lost, or add key... I read in this thread that some things can do and some not, opinion is different, what is your experience with vvdi2 and RB8? Thanks

Make sure you back up cluster data.
    Then you are fine.
These clusters can get stuck i learn mode 3-3 or something like that comes in the display.
Some have had that, no problem.

If you have immo data saved, even if you have wiped all working keys, you can still program back in with add key, then bottom option load immo data.

Careful with those above 2015 - some are not MQB although the tools say they are. There are newer 48AES(or something similar, but definitely not ID88) which can only be done by the dealer no matter if you have working key or not.

No equipment from any manufacturer, does not properly copy the eprom from the cas by obd, just add the key.

    Hi people
    O have a problem with my vvdi2..
After update 5.8.0 does not connect anymore to PC.
If I try to 5.5.0 it can be seen by PC but I can't use it because sync with server.
If I update it to 5.8.0 the PC does not see it.
I used the update kit,it can see sn but if I try transponder or anything else the PC does not recognize it. Tried to uninstall all drivers and and install again. Tried on 2 laptops and on one of the laptops I don't have other ftdi installed..
Any idea what can be wrong? Thanks

The update tool, should fix this. Press the device information option.
You then often here the usb beeping , cause of the connection.

I assume you run it as admin, and try with defender of antivirus off.
You have manualy choosen the driver, in the device manager. (usb serial converter)
So if you plug in the device, you see it poping up!

Google : how to install driver vvdi2 ,might help
