Default PASSAT B7 USA REAR LIGHT CODING

    Hello,
I heve PASSAT B7 USA ( NMS) and I have to change the rear lights of the US to Europe.
I changed buye 18 of A0 on 30. Rear lights work fine but I have a fault LED on the board.
In BCM fault codes: light brake left and light brake left.

If anyone knows the correct encoding for europe??

How did you do this coding ?
As I understand, to do this kind operations on new B7 you need special access code or do it online.
Please, help me to understand this moment.

I think we will be seeing lots of these with same problems due to VW buy back scheme in US. Lots of used VW cars coming to Europe and Asia.

Change byte 18 to "30" and connect additional cables to BCM http://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...Z7Y/edit#gid=0

    Attachment 436130
The connectors as pictured left to right are T52c, T52b, and T52a.

Thank you very much ''gsmik'' for the info. I want to ask you, did you solved the problem with converting, because I made some changes but the DRL is not working. After you made the changes everything works fine? Thanks in advance for your reply!

Hello guys, so in VCDS, byte 18 should be changed to "30", after that we need to swap some wires in BCM for rear turn signals, and also install additional wire from BCM to trunk for rear fog light. Am I right?
Also, byte "30" change BCM pinout to which car? Passat CC?
