smok don't read cs pin mac for pcr2.1... only avdi do it. But if you know cs pin mac, you can use smok option for pcr2.1...

hi, I have same problem with pcr2.1 and I buy new ecu ( you need !!! same catalog numb !!!. , then go coding to vw servic) work with no problem.
I would like to say that the problem, start when I read ecu(flash) with mag. when unlocked the flash(pass upload from srver) the catalog nuber (chang in flash) and then light for engine blink and dtc in ecu was not corect coded. If you have the same problem contact mag... I have a lot of problems because of mag...

Is there anyone knows how to adapt pcr2.1 with avdi an057? I can see everywhere that avdi solve adaptation pcr2.1 but i can't see where in avdi there is this option. When avdi gives cs/pin/mac, and after, what is next step? Can i use it with vcds? Or do i need to change immo data in instrument cluster in order to adjust CS? (then need to use new tranponder too?). Thanks

Magicmotorsport have no solution to read and clone this ecu.

They can desolder mcu and solder it back in a used.
Normal BDA work.

If I desolder by IR or hot air then I need to mobe mcu and eeprom?

Magicmotorsport can now read Pcr2.1 (unlock Eeprom and read MCU in bootload)

I find a way for tuners, read Eeprom by desolder, and use unlock Pcr2.1 program as is here on DK to unlock,solder back, then read flash by K-tag clone 2,13
You only get tuning material and not all mcu.

Is it posible to write a virgin Eeprom file and code on VW workshop?

I did a test to mount a new mcu on EDC17CP14 and program Eeprom/Flash and it work.

Has any one done this to a PCR2.1?
Someone say it dont work, mcu has id number in software, but need info from any one that have done this.

Problem is that I only works whit units on bench, never in cars.

I have Smoke and VW immo options but I read that I need som type of programming in car after I mount ecu....

Is it only Smoke that sell Immo4 emulator?

And, no way to do immo off yet?

Only thing you can do is find ecu from that car engine type read cs pin and adapt it to the car is the cheapest solution
