The backup will be stored in x300m unit I guess itself so don't need an eeprom adapter to store.

I want to share my experience with hummer h3 2009
I have try last version. there is 2 type both read odometer mileage ok but when i write it still the same on dashboard
if you read again the mileage it will show on x100 the new mileage but in dash its still the old one.
Mileage in this truck ia stored in bcm and dash
i thought that x100 have do the dash only. so i have remove bcm to do it with other tool.
then I realized that x100 have do bcm and not dashboard. So i have removed dash and do it manually
then job complete

If the latest Version can do the BCM of this truck, so I think you need to remove batterry to update the dash mileage from the BCM
I am not sure, but I just thinking of that.....

If the BCM value is change it will send new value to dash if you run truck after...

was testing tool on a 2003 avalanche with latest software GM30.46, can read fine and tool tells me write fine but numbers don't change. tried few times, same problem. anybody came across similar issue.
mileage stored in cluster only on this vehicle, not bcm.

x100 pro pad from xtool works good on this model, same procedure like colorado.
