I hope to give this a go later in the week. Only got my Zgemma 2s last week and am still learning (previous box was a DM500s with Commando image so didn't learn a lot). Does this image have any plugins installed (IPTV List Updater, MediaPortal, OpenWebif, TSmedia etc)?

It has the following plugins installed; openwebif, autobouquetmaker, crossepg all the other plugins you mention aren't installed but are available from the plugins menu

    Hi guys!!

Thanks to martin.......I have been playing around with this image and I can confirm it works fine on my H1

I had to delete the ABM's then reboot box to get no channels then I had to do the scan with my region and it worked a treat for my wanted area!!

I'm having an issue with using CrossEPG on my Zgemma Star S. I have it set to download Astra28.2 on OpenTV, it'll download a 2MB file (but hang on reading at 488KB and take about 5 minutes before ending, when I check the EPG I only have the freeview guide.

I also have an Amiko Alien 2, which is setup the same in CrossEPG, it'll download a 14MB file and take just over a minute to complete.

Both boxes have the latest OpenATV 5.1 image. Below is the log file from the Zgemma:

Crossepg 0.8.1 doesn't work with Openatv5.1 and the Zgemma series.

Would advise you flash my backup image onto your zgemma s as this has the correct working version of Crossepg install, as the zgemma s only has one tuner you will need to disable tuner B before doing any Autobouquetsmaker or Crossepg scan

Thanks Martin. I flashed this image this morning (before you updated it). Everything seems to be spot on so far. Is there a quick way for me to update the slyk HD skin to v1.7?

Remove the skin via remove plugins, reboot, install the V1.7 skin via software manager-local extension installer, set skin to slyk HD via the skin set up menu.

You'll have to search for the v1.7 skin as linking to another forum is against forum rules.

Love this image, and thanks so much for the help you have provided me, but my clock has disappeared from standby since the update is there anyway to get it back?

This happened to me when I did an OTA update a couple of weeks back, Openatv OTA updates can be quite flaky at times.
Either reflash your Zgemma with either your own backup image, if you've made one or use mine, then wait a week for Openatv to fix the problem.
Or try nightly OTA updates until Openatv fix the problem.
Or search the internet for a fix.

I updated my box and DK forum image this morning with no problems so it might have been a problem with the software released later today???

This is why it's always best once you've set up your Zgemma IE skins, bouquets, settings, plugins ,picons and other important files you should make your own backup image. So if a OTA update does muck up its just a quick reflash.

It was from the image on the front page of this post that I used, the one you posted the other day, that I have a problem with the time in standby.

Lol, thought you meant you'd done a OTA update. Just checked mine and yes when you put the box into standby the clock go off, bring it out of standby the clock reappears.

Edit: Fix: setup-usage&gui-display-display setting and scroll the 'brightness(standby)' one to the right.

Thanks for the kind words, I haven't updated the skin on the uploaded version as kiddac will be finalising his skin in the next week or so, so will just update the version when 'slky hd v2 final' is released.
