error 5 you have if soft not recognized fvdi on port com.

I have one question about fvdi vag commander.
When read flash from edc16 ecu,readed only 512 kb,not full flash size.
Anyone know why not read whole flash?

512k is a flash size from U34 controler
If you want to read whole CPU you need use BDM connection
otherwise read Flash + epp separate

I know eeprom must be read separate,but this size of flash memory is it usable when i want to disable dpf or egr?

Hello yes is usable all maps are in this 512kb zone.

but original avdi have a bug when write U34 ecus, early versions not write checksun ok and car not star, only corrected from v21 release

FVDI is the most big pain in the ass you can imagine, you spend a night in teamviwer with "support" and in next morning have a new problem, after 9 months, new shit called soft dog, and too many hours in teamviwer I quit. If anyone like pain then buy this torture instrument.

Found solution for the BCM2 key problem what i write in the last weeks.

Soldered paralel 5 piece of 100 picofahrad condensator to the 392J100 in the tag programmer unit, and key read / write is very good even with the key shell on it.

( solution is not mine, i found it too on another forum, and big thanks for the guy from me! Just want to tell this if anybody have this problem too.... )
