You use Different Software and different Data base and Frimvare

You shoul use lates SW + HW + DB files toogether
Do not mix it

Have a 2008 VW GTI, all keys lost. Hooked up FVDI and tried to pull CP from car. Tried add key wizard mode and it stated I had to read ECU. Tried to read ECU, med 9.1 single, read the ECU and then tried using the auto function to find 7th byte for CP... Didn't work.. read ECU again and got different CP and also different pincode... four different reads, four different CP's and four different pins.. Has anyone run into this before? usually when I read the ECU FVDI will pull the CP and pin no problem.. This is the first time I have run into this. The car is an auction car and has some mods to the engine and suspension, could a tune put on the ECU cause this problem?
