    Default Passat B6 id46 learning

    Hi all

I got Passat B6 lost all keys

I remove CCM and read dump
I got used id46 key and put in it new blank ID46 chip PCF7936

I used Iprog, load CCM dump, it extract CS and PIN , i add the new key to dump, i write it back to CCM
    I connect CCM to car
I put the key to car slot and ignition on , car start normally.

I used VCDS to learn this key now to make remote open and close car
I go to IMMO 25, scurity access, write PIN , control accept the PIN, go to adaptation , Channel 21 , read , it gives me old keys 1, i write 1 , test , save
Now cluster says 0-1 , i remove the key from slot and put back to learn the key , now cluster says Error : immobilize adaptation , when i remove key and put back it still immobilizer error

if i write the dump again car can start and work
but when try to adopt the key make remote work it gives again immo error

    any solution for this

Repeat OBD learning procedure. Last week I've done spare key and learning process was bit messy too. I needed 2 or 3 tries to program succesfully both keys.

did you write ccm dump after making dealer key and add it to dump
or extract cs and pin from dump , make dealer key , learn the keys by vcds ( immo , adaptation, channel 21 )

I didn't write new dump to CCM, I programmed via OBD with other tool, ni VCDS. But I dont see a reason why writing new dump should play a role here. But you can always try write back original dump and try add keys OBD

I only managed to learn original precoded id46 prox keys to this type. Everything else only worked thorough the slot and had to add by dump. ID48 keys learned no issues but ID46 only through dump or original.

Hello, when the ID46 hands-free remote control is introduced, the keyless function is activated. And the remote control must work directly. In the case of the 48-chip one, the chip is introduced to the separate remote control separately.

i tried by adding key to dump , car start but no remote
when i try to learn key it gives imoblized adjustment error and key no start car again

if i try with original dump without adding key to dump , sure car not start and when try learn key , i always get imo adjustment error to

since car start in first case , this means iprog made dealer key correctly or what do you this
    ??

Precode by dump and learn with OBD has worked best for me on ID46 Passat like p1et did. Learn by dump (Tango) have only get me in trouble, not sure why.
Not all aftermarket keys work well on ID46

Dont know anything about iprog but yeah, maybe it makes dealer key wrong so its good idea to try make it by vvdi2 and then learn by OBD

I think you can't put new 7936 in key it is connected to remote part like PSA keys

I did alot of these but allways need complete new key

Oh my God, that's true and I totally missed that part that he wrote he's got second hand remote key...

But he write his post with some nad font colour, dofficult to focus.

So yeah, obviusly thags the issue, the id46 remote must be brand new, its not possible to change transponder in second hand key and re-use it.

    Bingo
