To the guys with V51/V57 password extracting problems - are you using the optional NEC adapter with the socket or you are using the solder-on type adapter, included for free in the package?

I using solder adapder,with last update i can't renew any v57 always kill nec,when i indetificate nec nec vvdi read corect,after try to read pass or renew vvdi kill nec and not possible to read again correct version nec, for v51 for bigening never work for me.

i use only optional NEC adapter with socket(payable option)

Yes, I'm am using the optional adapter, too. And didn't experience the mentioned problems. But the free solder-on adapter has always been a crap adapter. So it seems problem is not from this update but from the beginning of the existence of the free NEC solder-on adapter

Samic please stop spreading this crippled NEC adapter and put a note for everyone not to use it because it only destroys everything you put in it.

HI,
Extraction of password from NEC v51/57 on board is more like a torture

, so loss of data is very possible, hot air soldering de soldering etc. this all can lead to faulty data or faulty device in our case NEC. IF someone hasn't experienced such a problem this doesn't mean that he will never experience it!
Usually when software updates are done they implement new options or fix bugs, so if there was no bug in pass extraction in previous version why touch this part of code ??? I often see post's saying this worked in previous version now it doesn't etc. people are not making cakes here so the recipe is always the same

Even same cake can taste slightly different.
Make notes of some experience that you have had and what was the work around instead of saying I have never had this issue.

Just purchased a Condor Mini KM03. How do I get my free daily calculations for my MB tool? Don’t want to buy tokens anymore.

Send pictures with serial number from screen and the serial number from vvdi mb to your dealer..
