I made 2 keys for w221 lost key.Both keys worked but after a few weeks the central locking function stopped working on one remote.
Tested remote and it showed correct frequency.
Made a 3rd key which worked fine but then the 2nd key's remote function stopped working .
It's as if the car only allows one key with remote central locking
All keys start car. Anyone experienced this before.

Key ROM-BE?
If so, then I had this, for 221 keys with ROM-BE sometimes stop opening and closing the car. Recorded the original ROM-57, work without problems.

Is this EIS now able to be read by IR on all keys lost?
I tried the option on the bench but it was making me remove and reinsert the IR reader over and over again.
It got to 20% and then failed.
There is no option for fast relay.

Anybody done one of these successfully?

YES it does work. When it fails, it will resume where it left off.
Average 12 insert/remove per 1% of data processed.
1200 time to insert and remove
average 4 seconds every insert and remove
4800 seconds if you go non stop and no fails
1hr 20 mins and a ~~~~ing sore hand.

Maybe is better use switch for ignition coin nad only make ON/OFF but 1200 time and 4800 s

Was doing a spare key on W220 today, while reading V57 NEC it ID'd ok though when trying to read the password at around 30-40% it failed and wiped the key, anyone else had an issue with reading pass from V51/V57 with VVDI lately?

I read a password from a v57 key with v4.6 two days ago. I did not use the latest version because it did not even communicate with the vehicle.

This dash you are trying to do is not supported by vvdi mb tool. You might try it with SMOK, they added new dash versions in the latest update few days ago.
