Just extracted pass by IR on a W203 for under 2 minutes. Wonderful!
But the key I prepared(second hand) is only able to lock and unlock the doors and doesn't start the car. Tried inserting many times, also left it for a few minutes in the slot and still nothing but lock and unlock the doors(only shows that it is calculating on the dash screen). Could the problem be in the second hand key?

when show in display ""calculating" then is need to wait !!! the process can begin from 1 sec to 2 hours !!!
don't want to have keys functional in EZS/EIS everytime only in 1 second

P.S. ...is important to know, when is your second hand key sure in 100% condition when is the key inserted in EZS/EIS, then is on dash "calculating" and the LED on the key is ON or flash...??? then wait...

yes, but is described in WIS, when can so long time needed for this process....mostly when you use another key for used position...then the rewrite is longer then write to non-used place...

It helped, thanks. Had to reinsert it 3-4 times but didn't have to wait for 2 hours.

yes, sometime helped insert...wait 2-5 sec or till the LED of key light...take out...insert again....wait (.........).....take out.....insert again.... and for example this steps repeat 5x

Guys, im trying to generate a key from one W209 and cannot.. when try calculate the key, the software crash..
can someone try to do the keys? please? Version 51.

edit: I found the problem, if you unmark V41 and 11 to do just the V51 the software crash, now ive tried marking all, and the software calculate the keys.

Same happen to me today leave all ticks and all keys made
