Hi, tried to make a cable in order to try to read w202 / w210 without taking hc05 out, i used some diagrams i found but it didnt work. i think i just cant figure out connections from obd to eis. can someone help me with that?

obd - pin 1 k-line, 4+5 ground and 16 12v.
eis connection - ground, 12v and kline

i made these connections but wont get it to work.

this ezs work reading obd, but......you must did some steps to get it success...
without wakeup ezs you cant read nothing

You mean when ezs connected to car? Or on bench?.. if so how can i do it?

Vvdi not work read pass with k-line 210,202,208.... !!!!
i hope xhorse never make read by k-line!
some time you must use personal skil.

in car or on bench, both work success... (of course key pass only when desolder HC05)
on bench +12V, GND and K-line, not need more, for reading need only wakeup ezs

In the "read eeprom" menu there is a window for keypass, this optipn will not work? And how can i wake the ezs up when its on bench?

small window for keypass are prepared for insert key pass readed from big old key for example... and after save whole ezs dump+keypass together as HC05 dump
wakeup ezs ??? :-) insert something inside, can it be anyone key or piece of wood

Will try that thank you very much.. thought that it will be the end of resoldering hc05 but it was too good to be true

Need help.
Have a W210 that have som problem to turn key around in keylock

Program tell me to "Renew EIZ"
I try but it dont work, see picture.



I have read keypass from Eeprom on key and save file.
I try to write but it dont work



I did move 2pc mcu to a working used EIZ but same problem, and cant renew...
So hardware is working but my be fault in software in 1 or 2 mcu...

Any tips?

I did take a other used EIS and renew it.
But still have same problem... when I try to write my EIS file back it hang up on 80%...
I did try 20 times but always the same...
Why?

look at status - activated

I need to write file from broken EIS to used EIS.
I have renew used EIS, but then I cant write my file back to used renew EIS.
It stop on 80% writing.

yes...ok, now i then not understand, why you not rewrite mcu's content when you have it desoldered yet...
you only waste time now...
and in other case, when you want to use used EZS, then you can only make new key and renew ecu with esl and teach back and all finish....its more simply
