first premierD is correct. he try to help you but you'r not getting the point.
he saying reload the back-up dump that you have make when you have try to get the psw from the key.
vvdi ask you to make a back-up from the dump so you must have it.
otherwise just make a new key.

second i also had the same problem ones.
and the solution was like i wrote above
and like premierD sayed in post #4317.

You have two options

see if you have made a backup file when when password read faiiled If not you have to read the EIS and make new keys.

I renewed but cant write a vin.
What i missing?
Whit DAS i must connect online to get vin write.

you can vin writte without online
ecu renew,now swap vin ,personalise and activate,vvdi work fine

You mean all done whit VVDI? Personalize and activate whit DAS?
One time i personalize and activate whit das but old vin were ecu. Car starts but vin wrong.

yes, right...VIN not need to be matched...only key data must be synchro....to start allowed..

Hi Guys<br><br>I am in need of your help please. Just acquired VVDi MBGA tool. I have a job i need to use it on and i dont have a clue where or how to start. From what i gather or read is that i need to is Virgin EZS. I say this because the key and eis is out of sync or so soft says. The elv/esl is not in fatal error and key (BGA) reads. Can anyone please guide me on my new journey? Thanks in advance
